From Waste to Art - Materials Matter

Why Cardboard

These works are created on reclaimed cardboard — not as a limitation, but as a deliberate choice.

The material brings strength, texture and unpredictability. Torn edges, surface imperfections and layered paint create depth that a traditional canvas cannot replicate.

Each piece is built up through multiple layers of paint, sand, and industrial elements, forming a sealed and durable surface with a raw, tactile presence.

Cardboard allows for intervention — tearing, cutting, restructuring — turning the work into a constructed object rather than a flat image.

It also carries a history. What was once discarded becomes part of a new expression, adding authenticity and meaning to the final piece.

This approach reflects both material awareness and artistic intent — transforming industrial leftovers into unique, lasting works.

No two pieces are the same.
